Connecting Ads Launcher to GoHighLevel

This guide will walk you through setting up a custom menu link in your GoHighLevel account to connect with your Ads Launcher account and onboard your clients.

Step 1: Create a Custom Menu Link

  1. Log in to your GoHighLevel account and switch to Agency View.

  2. Go to Settings > Custom Menu Links.

  3. Click Create New.

  4. Choose an icon for your custom menu link.

  5. Enter a title for the link (e.g., "Manage Ads," "Easy Ads," "Launch Ads").
Important: Do not use "Ads Launcher" as the title — white label this.

  6. In your Ads Launcher account, go to Preferences > HighLevel and copy the Custom Menu Link URL.

  7. Paste the copied URL into the Link URL field in your GoHighLevel account.

  8. Under Sidebar Preference, uncheck Agency Sidebar and leave Sub-account Sidebar checked.

  9. Select all or specific sub-accounts you want to give access to.

  10. Under Role-Based Visibility, choose the roles that should see the link (e.g., all users, admins only).

  11. Leave Permissions off.

  12. Click Save.

Step 2: Connect Your Clients

  1. Go to a sub-account where you want to connect a client.

  2. Click on the custom menu link you created (e.g., "Manage Ads").

  3. Enter the client’s business name and click Next.

  4. This will take you to the Integrations section.

  5. Click Facebook > Connect.

  6. Log into the Facebook account that has access to the ad account and page you want to use.

  7. Choose “opt-in to all current and future businesses” to grant Ads Launcher the necessary permissions (optional but recommended).

  8. Click Continue and repeat the opt-in process for current and future pages.

  9. Click Save to grant Ads Launcher access to Ads Launcher.

  10. Select the ad account and Facebook page for running the client’s ads and click Save.

  11. Repeat for Google Ads by clicking Google > Connect, then follow the prompts to grant Ads Launcher access.

Step 3: Check for Errors

  1. Go to the Ads Launcher Dashboard in the client’s sub-account and check for any errors.

  2. If errors are found, Ads Launcher will provide direct links to fix them.

  3. Once resolved, refresh the dashboard to update the status.

Step 4: Launch Ad

You can now launch ads for your client through their GoHighLevel sub-account or via My Clients in your Ads Launcher account.

Important Notes for GoHighLevel Users:

  • Do not create clients directly in Ads Launcher. Always connect them through GoHighLevel.

  • If a client is accidentally created in Ads Launcher, remove them via: Clients > [Client Name] > Settings > Remove.

  • Customize what your clients see in their portal by going to Preferences > HighLevel in Ads Launcher.

  • Make sure “Push Leads to GHL” is checked in your Ads Launcher preferences to sync leads into the client’s GoHighLevel sub-account.

By following these steps, you’ll successfully integrate GoHighLevel with Ads Launcher and streamline ad management for your clients.
