Enhancing user engagement and fostering active participation, gamification features within communities introduce points, levels, leaderboards, and rewards.

These elements motivate members to contribute quality content and interact with others, creating a vibrant and collaborative environment.

Gamification Features

Points

Members earn points for their interactions:

  • 1 point is awarded when someone likes a post or comment.

Levels

As members accumulate points, they move up levels:

  • Each level is represented by a blue badge with a number on their avatar and profile.

  • Higher levels are achieved by gaining more points.

Leaderboards

Leaderboards display the most active members:

  • 7 Days, 30 Days, and Overall: View members who have earned the most points within these time frames.

Rewards

Group admins and owners can set offline rewards for members:

  • Custom Rewards: Text-based rewards like "Win $500 at level 9" can be added.

  • Achievement Descriptions: Specify what members need to do to earn the rewards.

How to Use Gamification Features.

Setting Up Points and Levels

1. Access Memberships: Go to the memberships section and select communities.

2. Log into Your Group: Navigate to your group and log in.

3. Configure Interface: Adjust the default colors and fonts to make the interface more readable.

4. Review Leaderboard: Check the leaderboard tab to see member engagement levels.

5. Grant Course access based on levels: With the "Level Unlock" feature, you can grant course access based on your members' leaderboard levels. As they earn points and level up, they will unlock specific courses, encouraging more engagement. To set it up, just define the required leaderboard level for course access within the Learning Tab.

  • Go to Rewards Tab: Navigate to the gamification and rewards tab in your group settings.

  • Add a Reward: Click on the dropdown menu to rename levels if desired, then scroll down to add specific rewards.

  • Describe Achievements: Enter the reward details, such as "Win $500 at level 9," and provide a description of how to achieve it.

  • Save Rewards: Save the reward settings, which will then be visible to members.
