Day 2 Recap

Summary of Day 2 of GHLEngine Summit July 2026

Andy Audate (Main Speaker)

Key Topics:

  • Andy opened Day 2 with a recap of Day 1, revisiting one-time revenue (OTR) versus monthly recurring revenue (MRR) and framing opportunity-taking as the core difference between rich and poor mindsets, before comparing his $97/month and $497/month plans.

  • He explained his three-part client experience — Capture, Nurture, Close, and Consolidate as the first solution, followed by onboarding and then support — and emphasized retention as the direct counterpart to churn.

  • He presented "the churn math": 20 clients at $397/month properly onboarded generate $7,940 in monthly revenue, but losing 8 of 10 clients to poor onboarding drops that to $1,588/month, a loss of $6,352 every month, forever. He argued the root cause is not the software but agencies handing clients a login and disappearing rather than walking them to a first win.

  • He introduced the Six Fast Track Onboarding Sessions, structured to mirror the Capture, Nurture, Close, Consolidate framework: platform orientation, capture setup, nurture setup, pipelines/payments/booking, social media campaigns, and AI agent setup — and framed delegating this onboarding as the path to reclaiming an agency owner's time.

  • He laid out a three-step framework to reach 20 clients: sell a solution (not software), sell through automated webinars, and delegate client onboarding, then detailed a four-step webinar system (set up a daily webinar, drive traffic, guide the decision, onboard) and a blueprint to reach 20 clients in six months by closing 4 clients a month for five months.

  • He pitched the "Awesome" program and, later in the day, the GHL Assembly live event in Las Vegas (September 17–18, 2026).

Nuno Tavares

Key Topics:

  • Nuno presented his "Personal AI-OS System," opening with the idea of working through AI rather than talking to it, and describing most people's AI memory as a disorganized "junk drawer" that produces generic results and costs roughly eight hours a week in repeated re-explaining.

  • He outlined the system in five parts. The Handbook is five files that define who you are to the AI: claude.md (global rules), about-me.md (identity, role, goals), business-brain.md (offer and customers), writing-rules.md (voice and tone), and memory.md (captured decisions) — written as if briefing a new hire and updated continuously.

  • The Vault reframes the "second brain" concept as information organized and indexed by domain so the AI can retrieve facts rather than guess, with one vault per domain and the AI re-indexed each time files are added.

  • SOPs are built by doing a task with the AI, correcting the output, and saving that correction — the correction itself becomes the reusable procedure (called "Skills" in Claude), with weekly maintenance to keep sharpening them.

  • Logins (Connectors) give the AI the ability to read/send email, check calendars, pull data, update documents, and take action, with read-only tools set to "Always Allow" and write/delete tools set to "Needs Approval," ahead of a third rung — writing custom code — reserved for later in the talk.

  • The Schedule turns recurring work into a standing job description built from the user's own files, demonstrated through three running tasks: a 6:30 AM weekday Daily Brief, a Monday Weekly Content Plan, and a Friday 4 PM Sales Report, all run in the cloud with push notifications on completion.

  • He closed by walking through the recommended build order — Handbook, Vault, Logins, Schedule — noting that skipping a step weakens the rest, and argued the system works because it is personalized rather than a copied, generic prompt set.

Dakota Routh

Key Topics:

  • Dakota introduced himself and his company, which has provided agency support for HighLevel since 2020, and shared how he revamped and relaunched his own onboarding process after a costly setback.

  • He shared a cautionary result from Month 6 of his business — clients averaging $1,500 to $35,000 in refunds, totaling $49,500 refunded and a $4,383 drop in MRR — attributing the root cause to bad onboarding, explaining that his team over-focused on sales while neglecting onboarding and had hired the wrong support and onboarding partner.

  • He covered the four learning styles agencies should design onboarding around: visual (learns by seeing images), auditory (learns by listening), read/write (learns by reading and writing), and kinesthetic (learns by doing).

  • He outlined the four stages of learning clients move through: unconscious incompetence (unaware of the skill gap), conscious incompetence (aware of what they don't know), conscious competence, and unconscious competence (the skill becomes automatic).

  • He closed with the advice to hire people better than yourself to build and launch, while the agency owner focuses on steering the ship.

Freebies:

  • A freebie referred to as "Wally," shared via link during the session.

Cody Getchell

Key Topics:

  • Cody introduced himself and his company, Thinkrr, framing AI's promise of freedom against the real challenges agencies face with AI and automation adoption.

  • He argued that voice AI is the next major shift in marketing automation, and that agencies who master it now will own the next decade.

  • He introduced Thinkrr.ai's core capabilities: a focus on voice AI, unrestricted outbound calling, automated onboarding, an AI co-pilot with URL builder, the ability to "talk with campaigns," and integration flexibility to scale with ease.

  • He ran a live product demo and explained why agencies choose Thinkrr AI, framing value creation as the key driver of attracting revenue.

Conclusion:

Day 2 of the GHL Engine Summit 2026 shifted the focus from acquiring clients to keeping them, centering on onboarding, retention, and AI-driven systems for scale. Andy Audate quantified the true cost of poor onboarding and introduced a structured six-session onboarding framework and webinar-driven client acquisition system, while Nuno Tavares, Dakota Routh, and Cody Getchell each reinforced the day's theme from a different angle: building a personalized AI operating system, designing onboarding around how clients actually learn, and adopting voice AI to scale outreach. Together, the sessions positioned retention, structured onboarding, and AI automation as the foundation for sustainable recurring revenue.
